Randy Waitman, president, started RAE in 1996. Wanting to provide Ramona with the very best automotive repair & maintenance, Randy brings with him over 30 years of experience. A current Master ASE Technician & Master ASE Machinist his certifications are irrefutable. As a teenager Randy had a passion & dedication for the automotive performance arena that he has nourished till today. Through High School he was the car guy with the cool 1969 Camaro, that eventually was named Smokey White and was to become his first Drag Race car. Racing from Orange country to Tecate, winning some but for the most part learning invaluable information.
From the racing arena to the fleet maintenance, at one time Randy was in charge of over 100 vehicles that operated on a daily basis. Maintaining a strict budget and records he learned how to make the most of every repair that not only kept the vehicles on the road but also maintained a very impressive safety record. Today he demands perfection and education from all of his employees.
RAE only uses the very best in parts from many different manufactures. All technicians must attend 32 hrs of technical training a year. Our current technicians are all Master ASE techs, and this is what Randy is very proud of. Our current technicians are very well versed on your automotive needs. Crystal & Aaron, your friendly service advisors are always attending a class or two on how to improve the services to our very valuable customers. Both of them are very visible & active in our Ramona community.
We belong to the Ramona Chamber of Commerce, with Randy being a former Director for 2 years. We work on all makes and models and take great pride in making sure your family has reliable and dependable transportation.
